People of Rome, People of the Empire! Hear these words and rejoice. In the name of all-mighty Jot, the rebirth of a old Ancient Site group is drawing near!

Imperium is a structured role-playing group set in approximately 200 BC, in the middle of the Roman Republic. Players get to actively engage in all the religious, political, cultural, commercial, and military aspects of Rome of that era, all within a highly competitive environment. Motivated by whatever ambitious goal you set for yourself, you may aspire to rise through the Cursus Honorum, dominate the religious colleges, become the richest man in Rome, or even become Dictator... so long as you escape the assasin's dagger.

For the past year or two, the Imperium Group has lived in exile at CommunityZero. But recently we have received word from CZ that they have decided to become a paying community. And so, we are in need of a new home. Our Umpire, Caius Livius, contacted Jot, and together we have agreed that AW is the best possible home for Imperium. We expect that we be established here at AW before the end of this month.

We have never been a large group, and our ranks have been decimated by time. But we have survived, and now we are on the threshold of a new beginning. To anyone who dreams of playing out the Republic as it was meant to be played, I urge you to join us.
