in Hagia Sophia in Byzantium -- I mean, Constantinople -- Er, I mean, in Istanbul?

Does anyone here care to share some info on them if they have any? I've only once seen pictures of them, in National Geographic I think. But they were lovely to see in such a surprising place -- they were so exotic-looking in there!
