Kinnear, Jacques, 2004. What is really known about the Narmer Palette? KMT: A Modern Journal of Ancient Egypt. Vol 15 (1), pp. 48-54.

An intriguing study of this pre-dynastic artifact, the author concludes that too little can be read from this to assume that the Palette describes the Unification of the Two Lands of Egypt.
