    I would vote for Option 1, if I had a vote, merely to save you a great deal of time.

    Even with the short list you just posted, it gives a very clear indication of just how pervasive the Nordic influence was. I was unaware that Italy's royal house could count a Norse descendency.............or that Alfred as well.
