I love the way different people can grab an idea and run with it, producing results that are so individual and personalised.
It's a shame that v.6 doesn't offer the brush extensions - those and one or two other features are well worth the upgrade. There seems to be more and more emphasis on tools for creative expression with the later versions of Photoshop which makes it all the more appealing as a program choice.
The combination of background font and foreground font is intriging! That would never have occurred to me and it's now something I'm going to try. It looks great!
I'm so glad that the tutorial was useful even if just in part. It gives me the impetus to write more ;)
By the way, I've created a couple of brush sets that, while not all would be useful (some are downright silly but can be used to make great textures when overlaid), the textured or scribble brushes are handy when building up a collection to mix and match in an image. Unwanted ones are easily deleted from the sets once they are in your brush palette.
