I'm not sure that the Year and a day is actually Celtic, though I do think it was a practice of some European culture or other. I'd read about divorce based on obesity and I remember either being told or reading somewhere that the Celts actually had a fine for obesity. Was this true and how did they measure what was obese? I mean if you were like say five pounds over, did they fine that too? And for the marrige part, I do remember that a woman who had children seemed to be of more value as being proved fertile over someone who was untried. Well, that's it for my babble *LOL* Sorry to inflict myself on you guys. :D
