Yes, the Tristan & Isolde story does make use of the double-bind motif as well, though it's more central to the story in this case. In Cretien, Lancelot's double-bind is an element within the greater story, but in Tristan's case it's the motivating force in the tale. Tristan's loyalty to his uncle Mark conflicts with his love for Mark's Irish bride, Isolde. But he makes his decision, regardless of the tragedy that awaits him at both ends.
