Elvis was a rednecked schmuck. If he has any remains, hopefully they are fertilizing some squash somewhere. The only reasonable apology for Elvis is that he took up air time that might otherwise have been devoted to Sinatra, Striesand, or Merman, and for that we can, barely, be greatful.
