    .. all the four parts of it and I am afraid to say that the Viking part was definitely the weakest. I mean, it was nice to look at the reenactment bits and such, and some of the commentaries were really interesting, but the documentary as such seemed pretty poorly structured to me. There was just too much left out and considering that there was fairly nothing on their religion and their art I do not understand why such a great deal of the show was dedicated to Harald Hardrada. As far as he is concerned, there was a BBC documentary on the History Channel recently covering the Battle of Hastings and the preceding events and I found that far more informative...
