    by which I mean Senatus Consultum Ultima. What exactly was this used for? I know the Senatus Consultum Defendenda Res Publicae...but that's not the same thing, is it? Can someone please help?! lol I'm stranded from my usual resources, and would much appreciate it. My thanks, LVF
