    If I am correct, were not Balrogs the only thing that an Elf feared, besides maybe Sauron? I remember that Legolas wasn't scared of the dead men in the Paths of the Dead, but seemed terrified in the books when the balrog showed up in Moria. I was also thinking that the only beings to kill a balrog, (besides maybe members of the Valar in the Last Battle of the 1st Age), was Gandalf and Elves of the Highest orders, like Glorfindel and Ecthelion.
