Maybe I should preface this by saying I have no ulterior motive in promoting the site (but it's a nonprofit anyhow). Got a catalogue today from the (New York) Metropolitan Museum of Art store, which is having a blowout sale. There's a lot of reproduction Roman and Etruscan jewelry (mostly earrings) on sale, as well as some things from Egypt, Byzantium, and early medieval Europe. There's nothing I'd describe as really inexpensive, and it's mostly quite dressy, but if your elderly great-aunt gave you some cash for the holidays (Saturnalia, of course) and you're so inclined, take a look.
