The Centre for Computer-Aided Egyptological Research offers an opportunity to listen to an actual recording of someone playing an actual silver trumpet found in Tutankhamun's tomb.

The site is offline at present being 'renovated' but is also a wonderful source for fonts (transliteration); it also features a galley displaying some high-quality images for those interested in viewing objects and many other Egyptological resources.

Worth a look once it comes back online.
