The term "Dark Ages" is not proper at all. Anglo-Saxon England is definitely a time that can be hard to study due to the lack of sources on the area. But "dark" implies a period of absolute lack of advancement and progress. "Dark Ages" is only a cool term if you talking about something outside of historical study.
