I think that's such a great idea that I'd like to adopt it by acclamation - see what everyone else thinks. We are certainly lucky in the timing of the year - I remember trying to work up a great deal of enthusiasm for Vestalia because that was one of the nearest festivals to the Beta-Launch.

Also, we didn't really have TIME to set up a whole festival, but with two months, I think we could do it! I'll ask Jot if we can find the old Circus Maximus for some real horse-racing (FeAudrey shocked me by revealing that she's an inveterate one for the gigis, which I hadn't known about that most dignified of matronae).

I'd also love to do some theatre and we have plans for one or two of Rome's greatest Celebrities to be wandering about, which should also be fun.
