The Ludi Romani, or Roman Games, are described at length at this site and suggest a possible sequence of events that we could follow: an opening procession and sacrifice, athletic and theatrical competitions on subsequent days, feasts to Jupiter, Juno and Minerva midway through, and a review of the cavalry at the end. Nota Bene: Check out the links at the bottom of the linked page! Maybe we could have a booth set up for writing "defixiones", or curse tablets.
