    Many of the translations I have looked at when in doubt with my own translations have been in english (and at desperate times in german or french, but I can't say that they are languages that I know very well) but there also exist some in swedish. "Ab urbe condita" by Livy are now being translated by Sture Linnér. The first volume and the second has been published and hopefully there are more to come. I have translated Livy myself as part of my latinstudies at Uppsala university and I quite liked it.
