    That are on my nightstand, so to speak (I often read two or three books in the same time period), are:

    Prey, by Michael Crichton (Excellent book - just about done)
    Timeline, by Michael Crichton (no, I didn't get it because of the upcoming movie - in fact, I've already read it. However, both the M. Crichton books were a gift for my birthday)
    Chaos, by James Gleick (very intriguing and readbale intro to Chaos Theory)
    And, of course, every day I have to read somthing out of the Oxford Classical Dictionary :D
