OK people of Babylon, so you want others to have their say? Well, General Hasdrubal is having his say - now that I've read all of these discussions (bit of a slow learner...sorry!)

Alrighty then! For starters, I personally think that everyone seems too concerned about the details at this stage! Let's start by simplifying things.

1) I am in full agreement that level one should begin with a culture.

2) I fully agree with my kinsman, Tomilcar Barca, that we should initially begin with the largest or most prominent civilizations first - whether that be 3, 5 or whatever depends on the creators' abilities, restrictions etc, but, in time, the more the merrier!

3) I am also in agreement (sorry to not debate) that the ToC should then follow as level 2, which MUST encompass all aspects of life so that any given topic will fit in to a catagory somewhere - the given ToC seems to be quite adequate in my mind.

This then is the start and, as far as I understand of AW, would then allow people to get discussing their particular interests, in their chosen civilization - I believe, to emphasize, that threads MUST be made, from the start, for all of the items on the ToC! (unless of course this is exceptionally challenging from a creator's point of view, but I don't know!)

With all this generally in agreement, the project can get underway - and it no doubt is already and I'm probably too late with this post anyway!

One final point, on behalf of myself and Tomi, I believe that Carthage should have its own civilization - aside from Phoenicia; afterall, they did break their ties with Phoeni eventually and they grew into the most powerful force, alone, in the Med! I think that's deserving of their (our) own civilization on the 'cultures' list!!
