I am not particularly gifted on the subject of archaeology whatsoever. But I am learning! Here is my question. Does anyone know of any good sources on the archaeology of Stamford Bridge? I do not beleive that any great digs have been performed there, but I am sure that there are many people out there with a much greater knowledge that what I have. I beleive that archaeology can still tell us a great amount of information about this decisive battle, and about the people who took part in it. Any help would be helpful.

    Harald
