O.k., enough historical fiction. From the non-fiction category, a new book entitled "Rubicon", by Tom Holland, is out in some areas, but as I see in a recent check on Amazon.com, will be released soon in the U.S.

Holland is a radio personality in the U.K., from what I understand, and has other published works in ancient history.

I am considering purchasing this book. Does anyone have input as to whether it is worth the money? Money aside, is the book worthwhile? From what I understand, Holland makes comparisons to the actions of the Roman Empire and the current actions of the U.S. government and it's foreign policy. Sounds interesting to me.
