I think this man is most unreliable and STILL the picture we have of many prominent Romans, especially us non-historians, is coloured by Suetonius's text. He had the access to writings on and by many emperors - but still much of what he tells is rather fantastic.
Can we trust him one little bit? Did he really think he was telling the truth about Vespasian performing a miracle in Egypt, or did he probably add that himself, for example?
Enlighten me, please!
