EDICT OF THE PRAETOR CN. ULPIUS SISENNA

(this edict has to be read and posted in all the villages under roman control)

The legitimate king of Volcae has been murdered by a bastard and coward traitor, Matrix. This mad traitor has used a foreign army to submit his people and to chase the legitimate inheritors, supporters and allies of the noble Volcan throne, bathing in blood and cruelty the fields of his mother land.
Now the Volcae is under the horrible tyranny of Matrix and his foreign allies.
I, as guarantor of the alliance between the legitimate inheritors of the volcan throne and Rome, must re-establish the concord and the peace in the territory of the Volcae and to punish the perfidy and the tiranny.
All the volcan lovers of the freedom must join my army in Arelate. I will protect the inheritors of the king Baldric and their legitimate rights. I will punish to the traitor Matrix, the enemy of the peace and the justice, purifying the volcan land of the curse that Matrix has brought on her.

Any supporter of Matrix is a bandit and therefore he will be crucified and his familiar goods will be requisitioned.

Reward for the head of the bastard traitor Matrix: 3000D or 200 cows.

    Pridie Idus Iunii

Cn. Ulpius Sisenna, praetor of Narbonensis.
