Caligula and Bladder made their way in the Emperorīs luxorious sedan escorted by a century of Preatorians -commanded by our very own Chaerea.
"Really, Bladder darling..." Caligula was starting a sentence.
"Yes, sire? A new brilliant plan, sire?" Bladder looked anticipatingly.
"Oh, not this time really! I was just saying how tedious these Senate sessions can be. A bunch of wacky old farts. Really, we could be in the theatre or something..."
"What a brilliant idea, sire! We could transfer the sessions from that damp old Curia to the Theatre of Marcellus or the Circus! Oh, the divine flame is beginning to burn on your forehead!
"A divine flame? I donīt feel it." The Princeps stated flattered and incredulous in the same time.
"You Gods donīt feel these things, sire. I am a mere mortal."
"Yes, I understand that everyone is not immortal." Caligula said mildly.
As they were still chatting the sedan stopped on the steps of the Curia Iulia.
