I wish I knew more about the techniques the painters used . . . the colors are so vibrant and rich, but there's an odd feeling of alien-ness, of a culture so different from any I know that I'm fascinated and surprised. But the lights in there are dark, so sometimes it's hard to see all the details!

How amazing to find frescoes like this and I knew nothing about them!!
