That was a beautiful tribute to your Dad...I lost my Dad just this past May 1. It was the same day last year that his sister died and their mother's birthday. I just traveled to visit him April 17-24, so I don't know if it meant anything to him, but it meant a lot to me. He wasn't someone who was as accomplished as your Dad...he compulsively read the newspaper and I appreciate him more as an adult than I did growing up. He made me feel secure by always being there and being so gentle and easygoing...it is something that I value a lot more in people I meet, now. One of his favorite sayings, especially when he didn't want to do something was, Tomorrow Is Another Day...
My Dad, Henry Roszczewski 1915-2002
From his daughter, Julianne
I really feel ancient now since I lost my Mom in 1976, but I know that so many other people have gone through this, including my own parents...
