    Cairetw,

A great post fro you Axiothea! Indeed the question of what pleasure can finally be presented to us is elusive. Although through Aristotle’s works and especially by his Nicomachean Ethics we can find, with notice and awareness the answer, which you gave correctly!

Is when our pity relieves us from fear, and causes us a kind of pleasure, or it is the transition, which gives us, pleasure.” And that is what exactly all the Greek tragedies were, and still doing! It is like to live in a threatening dream, and when you finally realised you cry out:

Gods of our race! Be with us now, at last.

    Well-done Axiothea!!J

    Yours in honor,

    Nikolaos Cleomenes
