Years ago I wandered down into the hills of the Palatine and actually saw these frescoes, but apparently they are being restored; at least the last time I was there, it was all shut up and had that indefinable "work in progress" look to it. I may not live to see the House of Livia reopened, Italian timetables being what they are. But we can still look at the images! (and if it's open again, someone tell me!)
Here are a few from rooms as Augustus might have seen them: some images are from the "house of Livia" at PrimaPorta, which I am embarrassed to admit I know very little about.
