The priests of Marduk intoned as the ritual litany drug on and on and on Sheba pulled herseft to attention to her dutty and brought hhr mind to bare on the events unfolding. The priests of Marduk were opening the Littany for Thier King Zig Alpilsin , Thier Liege. And They were opening a change in the litany to Marduk for he was the God of War as well as the Protector and patron of the Lion of Babylion.Long Sheba had been in the care of her King. Long ago her fater had saw fit to offer Sheba in her youth as tribute to the Lion of Babylion a princess of royal blood of the the Per Ah of the Pharoh of Egypt(the High house of Pharoh).But that was a lifetime ago.Now Babylion was her home.

Shebahad watched as the priests of Marduk had scourged her King in many Akitu festvals and watched him as the priest rained fists upon her kings brow as he submitted before the sovernty of Marduk and his priests and she had seen him rise to the Bed of Innana as well and perform upon the Sacred Marrage Bed of the Goddess(with a knowing smile she knew of his rites there.)And Sheba had weathered war with her king as well.

Sheba'smind wandered to Selket , Sheba had fixed her hair and tried to cheer Selket Zig's new prize before she had to leave Selket to tend to her duties. Sheba had become a devottee of the Godess Ishtar upon being brought to Babylion and had risen in favor and graces in Her Temple and her own training under the priestess of Ishtar.Sheba knew all of Istar's faces as a High Priestess within the Temple of Ishtar. The day drug on endlessly.When she retuned it was late Selket slept and Sheba decided to meditate before a image of the First Lady of Heaven ,Ishtar.Her meditationds changed and Sheba rose briskly and moved in a hurried pace.

ShebaSmiled as she lead the Hunting lions to the enterance of the palace. Before the other poor fool could be lured from his post Sheba call to the Gard in her voice of comand ....." You there Hold do not move from your Post on pain of Death!!! Let My lords lions finish this Hunt! Raise the Alarm, Now!!! "

Sheba wheeled upon her heel to find General Bel-kala and Her Liege the Lion of Babylon Zig Alpilsin as the Gards of the palace erupted into lives of thier own.
