    Ridding quickly to the party Nidintulugal Atrahasis called to the Queen. “Highness, I bring word that there are emissaries on the road who would meet with thee. Tribesmen I believe who offer aid to you & our city in the struggle at hand. They wish to meet with you at once & would want little known of their activities.

    I have judged it a safe meeting as it seems to be but a Chieftain and a few attendants who are unarmed. They seem to have a tent set just off the road ahead in a place where your safety can be assured. They seem to have gone to some effort to meet with you & have ridden quite some distance & in fear of danger to meet with you.

    Niduntu asked that the Queen & he speak privately so as to give her more precise information. Caution in these days was a most valuable asset.

    As they rode toward the rendezvous, he quickly whispered the details of the proposal. The Queen had a wry smile upon he lips. Her mind had already seized upon some plan he was sure.

    Then Nidintulagl added, “The lord seems a very handsome man as well. Amah, I think the Queen will enjoy very much working with him.”

    He watched as the Queen’s expression changed to one of some wicked mischief. How he so enjoyed trying to read her thoughts, but not so much as the glint of her eyes in the moonlight.

    My, what thoughts she seemed to have………
