The Etrurian legions will take a day to rest, and to reorganize Cortona. Any surviving members of the town council are to be crucified immediately. A new town council will immediately be formed, and will be required to swear an oath of loyalty.

On the following day, the legions will march in standard order to Arretium where I shall confer with the Consul. Cavalry are to provide scouts for the march, and to continue to watch Tarquinius' army.

Finally, disguised scouts are attempt to slip into the two cities remaining in rebellion, Faesulae and Pistoriae, in order to gauge the mood in those town in response to the news of the fall of Arretium and Cortona.
