Second, different people approach things differently I guess. I have always liked the sort of rambling discussions that arise (sometimes) from Q&A... as they can wander in a stream of consciousness sort of fashion from who said X to why did that guy eat so many lampreys to why did Julia Domna refuse to wear flowers in her hair...with lots of odd commentary in between. Nothing is ever really "off topic" so the discussion just goes where it goes and nobody needs to feel stupid or squelched for saying something that some purist deems best said elsewhere.

Which brings up my next question...
