BLESSING OF THE MAY

For Queen of the May
Warriors leap all the day
O'er bonfire so high, none can say,
But the best shall have the hand
of the Kings daughter or lovely maid,
Glad for proposals to be said
This day for goddess honor wed
All to caress and bless us and the land
