Floralia, or Florifertum, is commonly celebrated April 29th - May 3rd. This year we will celebrate this traditional Roman festival at AW from April 28-April 30 on this topic. Please take a look at the schedule. We hope every member can and will participate! ...

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the planning and organising as well as the Floralia Festival itself! Let me mention some names - there are more people to be thanked, though, and naming people is always a bit dangerous: I am certainly missing many, so please don't be hurt :-)

Thanks to many active posters who contributed a great deal - such people as Donalda Antonius, Fabia Valerius, justina Cassius, Messalina Terentius, AzureEyes Ramesses, Leah Enkidu, Jojo Nebuchadnezzar... and many more!!!

Thanks to all the Wonderful Graphics we have seen on these boards! I earlier made the post with a whole index of them, and I thank all contributors and artists, such as Diantha Livius, Donalda Antonius, and Azuria Servilius - and many more!!

Thanks and Congrats to Yngvildr Scylding, Vanilla Flavius, and Aulus Sergius for faring so well in the contests, and for their activity here on the board!!

Thanks to Josephia Flavius and Proserpina Curius for many wonderful posts, especially the opening and closing ceremonies of this Floralia!

Thanks to Tanaquil Sergius for her hard work planning and implementing the Latin Trivia Contest, and her continuous posting on this topic!

Thanks to Edwinus Aelius for the WONDERFUL races. I don't know what we could have done without you!!!

Thanks to the three wonderful ladies who I have had the honour to work with on this and many other occasions. My super-colleague and super-friend Maia Nestor has done a great deal of work behind the scenes. Maia, you are wonderful! Mama (who said Tante?) Cornellia is nearly a saint with her patience on my HTML - and works to keep our topics going more than we will ever know (divine secrets I guess!). Without Heraklia Aelius we wouldn't have had this festival at all - she is the hand behind the whole SpingFest series at this site, and for this festival, her greatest (though of course not only!!!) contribution was the wonderful, brilliant, funny, Satyre!!!

Thanks to Jot Ariston for his appearances at our festival, and for the whole new Rome!

I personally had the time of my life. Thank you all for that!
