    Anyone read any George Eliot? I have read Silas Marner several times, and it is a charming, magical tale. I also purchased Middlemarch but I have not read it yet. Has anyone read it?

    George Eliot's life is also supposed to be worthy of a novel; someone told me once that she read her biography and said that it was fascinating.
