You have now been given the office of the military province Aquitania.
This position is legatus Augusti pro praetore of Aquitaniae, you will have praetorian powers for Aquitania or more certainly "Military Governor of Augustus with praetorian powers for Aquitania."
You are charge of a military province and have command of the local numeri and auxiliary forces, unless his superior, the Proconsular of Narbonensis/Vicarius of Viennensis orders otherwise.
The chain of command is legatus Augusti pro praetore Aquitaniae Aragorn Tectosages Volcae, then Vicarius Viennensis is S. Sargintius, next is the Northern Tetrarch post that is run by G. Seius Mamroanus, then Amicus Princepi Quintus Cinna Cocceius and presently the Emperor Alexander Severus

Aragorn looks at the seal and is familiar with the emblem.
He breaks the seal and unrolls the scroll carefully.

He also requires a levy of 3000 new recruits as soon as possible either trained there in Aquitania or sent to Legio, Tarraconensis for training with the VII Gemina legio.
The VII Gemina trains legionaries excellently and that is what I need here in Moguntiacum discipline and courage.
