Tyleerius dropped the letter that said that the Tetrarch had accepted his invitation to visit the province. Everything had to be perfect. This was a highly unusual visit, and a great opportunity to show the world what he was capable of. This could be good for career advancement later on. Tyleerius was sure that Fabricius knew something about the Serapis cult. He would explain everything he had learned when the tetrarch arrived. Well, at least some of it. He also knew that if there was one man who could stand up to the cult and live, it was Flavius Fabricius Licinius Piso. He would support him in any way possible, so long as it did not jeopardize his little agreement with them. The province could not afford any more disorder.

Now for the preparations. He would show the Tetrarch how the province's grain production rate was up a whole 5%, and how the profits raised by this would create a budget surplus of 250,000 denarii, the largest in a decade! It was too bad this had been overshadowed by the cult incidents. In reality, given the current situation, the province could not be more stable. The legions were fiercely loyal to the emperor, profits were up, which kept everyone happy (it also meant more money for him), the Eastern trade profits kept the Persiand happy, for now, and corruption was very low, which was highly low in this day and age. He had often considered telling the Tetrarch this in a letter, but he wanted it to be his little arrival present.

There would be a grand banquet where everyone who was someone in the province would attend. It would be quite a visit. He hoped nothing went wrong...
