I was able to visit this traveling exhibit yesterday. Wonder of wonders, it is for free now where I live. Eugene and Clare Thaw CollectionAMERICAN INDIAN ART This exhibit spans the continent and shows the wide variety in Native American artistic works, I have only seen this fine quality in picture books and it was a revelation to be able to experience it for real. I want to return many times before this show is over. I dedicate this entry to our old friend SkyEyes who was such a wonderful contributor. I know he would have enjoyed this very fine basket collection and all of the many other fine examples of our Noth American Native Art heritage.
