I'm curious what your opinion is of the popular culture's vision of Rome, especially the Roman themed films beginning with "Gladiator" up to the soon to be released (in the US) "Agora". Do you think the "Hollywood" treatment given to our favorite Empire in films , TV and novels can promote a healthy interest in ancient history ? Or are they too much a distortion of real history?
