*drum roll*
The Year of the Four Emperors with the lovely plaques for Mauricius Fabius and M. Fabius Furius.
The project can be found here. But the board only tells part of the story which is a tremendous story to start with. It tells of one of the darkest years of the Roman empire, where generals were jockeying, selling and buying the purple. They re-enacted the whole year and we learned not only about the big men who played the game but how their games affected the every day people and their lives. They've also incorporated articles, hood homes, a contest, some of Senex's games, festivals - all of the things that AW has to offer.
They were able to make use of virtually every aspect of the site - historical, social and roleplay - to create a project that not only helped educate us but also was entertaining.
There really is a lot of tremendous work done by extremely talented folks in this site and we are truly blessed to have each and every one of you.
