Lynx is much better. He wasnt eating much and snoffling when he did because he had an abscess and the tooth was already gone.
They did a senior's blood scan and urinalysis and tested for 2 other diseases. the vet couldnt get his mouth open to check further than the outside gums which were swollen and excess tissue on the left side and a swollen lymph node..
The vet then asked if I could give him pills!! He couldnt get the cat's mouth open and he was a big strong vet. any way they gave him a slow release anti biotic shot (releases over 10 to 12 days).
Saturday got the results of all the lab work!!...
Joy , everything was normal. So if the lymph node swelling goes down (and it is) and abcess gets better( and it is, he is eating better).
All that is left to do is teeth cleaning and some removing.
And asking Bast to ensure that the lymph node is just swollen from infection
Oh got read the riot act about his weight.
he is on a diet, must loose at least .5 to 1 pound month.
But,, the unknowingness was so horrible. But now that I know and there is a pathway, both of us are much happier.
to Bast, milk and honey,
Thank you
