Friends, a suggestion - aqnd a very good one! - has been made for a Symposion speaker by nominating Dr. Karl Friday, who is an expert in Japanese/Samurai history and has his web page below. I want our FIRST Symposion speaker upcoming to be for Orient, which has never had its "own" speaker.

First, does anyone else have any recommendations? If so, please drop me a note or leave a URL on the Symposion thread!

Second, is anyone out there knowledgeable enough to help us prepare if Dr. Friday agrees to come?
