Well, I resigned from Rome--and just joined another group that won't let me post or tell me how to get to the next level: Firenze. I wish that groups would be required to state their rules upfront before someone joins. "WELCOME. . .JOIN THE GROUP!" the banner always proclaims. Then you pay and are told, "By the way . . . this group is closed."
Rome wouldn't let me read on level 1. Firenze will let me read--but allows guests to read, too. Does anyone out there know what the rules of this group are? Do I have to make 60 visits, wait 30 days, or what? If I knew what to do and knew someone was monitoring new members, I'd probably hang in there.
And here I will commend my other two groups: Ancient Mysteries and Augustus. Both allowed me to post immediately. Ancient Mysteries even has its rules clearly listed.
Bottom line: Members allowed 3 groups have to choose carefully--but can't make informed choices because the rules of most groups aren't stated up front. I recommend that group rules be mandatory and accessible for guests.
I note this is an ongoing problem as posts on it have been made before.
