Before we move forward I would like to inquire what period we are using in determining the actual layout of Kaifeng. My recommendation is that we base it on the year 960, when the Song dynasty took it over. This is because of the wonderful three concentric walls, it would make a wonderful layout visually! Now as for the Jewish district, it is from a later date I think, but should DEFinately be included as it is an intriguing aspect of Kaifeng history, for sure! Thanks for stepping up to the plate!
