If you try to register at AW as a Roman, it should be possible not only to choose a personal praenomen before a nomen from the list of designated family names, but also to add a cognomen after the nomen. Those of us who want three names improvise as best we can - otherwise I would be Titus Flavius Sabinus as intended. We could agitate and lobby for the registration form to be changed, but that isn't going to happen, so what would be the point?
I agree entirely with Mehdi's post and the blunt, but necessary, statement about priorities and long-past-due fixes. But, again, they probably aren't going to happen soon, so it's best to do what we can with what we have.
I personally don't see the need for diacritical marks in names, but some people may find it a matter of authenticity, depending on whether or not these were actually used in practice in ancient times. I suppose the next thing is a burning need for hieroglyphs and Burmese script, but I'm not going to sign on for those either.
