On how easy it is to fix the current persona name bug. If it is easy to change, as it may be, then I am all for it. Mehdi, you may not have to lose the ease of Navigation, I would like it Jot would say if both could exist ... both the ID number and easily navigated persona link ... I don't see why not as they currently both work.

Unlike Poh and some of his (er?) friends who are active on AW, some people have left the site because they created a name and couldn't adapt. I think it would be very bothersome to create a persona on this site with special characters and have the majority of people unable to talk to you.

When it really comes down to it, it depends on how easily and gentle the change can be made, if it can be made, and if people want it to be made. Poh's idea of making a signature link to their homesite is very clever, but what about those who join later on, will they be able to think of such a thing ... or will they become frustrated and quit?

I believe for Ancientworlds to expand and accept new people, it must adapt. Yes the image galleries are a big issue, but I see that as a mountain in our path currently, a very hilly path, with other more minor bugs, like the logging in multiple times, the signing out in writing grams, and the red check-grams error message box.

Though maybe Jot can't fix all these bugs, the Companel for instance is on another server, perhaps it is on their end and not AncientWorlds that some of these errors happen. I would like though to hear from Jot what he can do, how quickly and easily it can be done.

Then we can start thinking of what to do when ... otherwise, we'll be in the same spot we are now, complaining about a bug which has lasted for months and no news on it being fixed.
