Now- for some updates on a few Eternal Gods, Eternal Lives members, and others you might remember.

1. From AS Old Kingdom, our former Chief Lector Priestess.
First, you must know we lost a dear friend. You knew her at AS OK as an alternate persona. She was a Scribe here at AW. Before that, she started this group with Oset, AER, Hapshetsut & Neima. If you've been at Pan, you might have already heard the sad news. Scribe Seme has created a memorial to her HERE. A good part of Egypt remains in quiet mourning.

2. From AS Old Kingdom, our former Chief Bodyguard/ Quarryman/ Owner of VII Veils.
Oset is still here. He opened this group just before being diagnosed with a very serious, life-threatening illness but he is tough as nails & doing well. He still plays piano, sings, teaches and has a new band with AzureEyes' brother Strat. Word is he also plays church organ- if you can imagine that! At times, he logs in and posts as himself - - but more often, you'll see him as others.

3. From AS Old Kingdom, your sister, Pharaoh Azure.
As for your eldest sister, she is still here but has not posted as "herself" since her friend passed away. She was Egypt's Scribe for 1 year, took time off to care for Oset, then returned to finish her 2nd year, but immediately became involved in a political nightmare that is beyond description. I can say - - She is doing great, still bellydances and will be delighted to hear of your return. The most recent news from her - She has family visiting from Italy. They attended the Columbia University graduation ceremony & also went sightseeing in New York City. They don't speak English. She doesn't speak Italian.

4. From AS Old Kingdom, your other sister, the Vizier/ Royal Sculptor.
I last saw her sometime during the holidays. She was globe trotting! Yes - She has traveled extensively and may be coming to the United States.

5. From AS Old Kingdom, our former governor.
He was here for a while & started to rebuild Old Kingdom in Azure's KMT group. He also joined Eternal Gods, Eternal Lives. Things were fine, but while Oset & Azure were out on hiatus, KMT's group leadership changed 2-3 times, ending up in the hands of someone who eventually had Old Kingdom, the Chasm, the Amarna era RPG & a number of other KMT boards completely deleted. He does log in now & then to leave a kind word to his old friends.

6. From AS Old Kingdom, our 1st Vizier.
She was a site Scribe early on, like AER, building AW at its onset - but she did not Scribe in Egypt. I don't know where she is now, but the last I heard, she was at Pan.

7. From AS Old Kingdom, our former "medjay".
AW is no longer accessible to him.

8. From AS Old Kingdom, Azure's cousin.
She was an Egyptian Scribe but no longer has the time to play online. Last I heard, she was also globe trotting - in Paris.

Now for those you didn't know from AS Old Kingdom but might have known here at AW -
- Neima might be here as other characters, or she might not.
- Toman had some health issues but was doing OK. I was told AzureEyes & Oset spent some time with Toman IRL - but I have not seen him on site recently.
- Hapshetsut was a site Scribe with AzureEyes. She started this group with Oset & the others. I have not seen her around lately but we did communicate within the last few months. She is quite busy - - but might come back to play.
- Feline might be around as other characters. I hope to see her return, too.
- Khnemu is still here.
- I have not seen nilaja since before our friend passed away.
- Like many other Egyptian patrons, Senenmut vanished some time during AER & Oset's sabbatical.
- Cornellia is always here. She is, after all - the Roman Goddess of Good Manners and Polite Behavior!

On the whole, this group was put on hold during Oset's illness - then after his return, posting was limited due to reasons mentioned under 3 & 5. If his friends are truly interested, I am sure he will put his heart back into EGEL, KMT and Egypt, in general.
