This is fascinating stuff! I can't wait to pass it along to my students, Jewish and non-Jewish alike, when spring break is over. Now, because I'm greedy, another question: can you recommend any good secondary sources on Jews in the Roman Empire? I have read around in Josephus and in the histories, but I'd love to see a good scholarly treatment (or several...because greedy...) of the subject. Many thanks.
