Citizens of Hellas. Lend me your ears.

The Ides of March will be celebrated this year with a contest.

It is to be played in two parts: the first from February 14 to 28, the second from March 1 to 15. It involves a little research, a little role-play and a quest.

First: each player chooses one of Caesar's assassins. The player must make a post as their chosen conspirator explaining who he is, why he joined the conspiracy, and giving a clue where he is hiding his dagger until D-day. They then write an-email to one of the Scribes of Rome telling them where he wants the dagger hidden. This must be in one of the hoods in Rome, either in the hood page or in one of the citizen's properties.

After March 1 the conspirators, who aren't so sure killing Caesar is such a good idea after all, look for the daggers and tell Caesar's security (the scribes) by e-mail where they found them. Of course each conspirator's dagger doesn't count for his player's total.

On March 15 the scribes will announce the results: if all the daggers are accounted for, Caesar lives; otherwise he dies. The winners of the prizes will be the three members who find the most daggers.

From February 14 to March 14 each player is free to make role-play posts explaining what their character is doing or feeling about the conspiracy; it will be more fun if the players interact.
