The festival of Mars (Feriae Marti) begins appropriately with a day dedicated to his mother Juno on March 1 (Matronalia) and continues to at least March 24 and possibly to the end of the month. (On the old Roman calendar, March 1 was New Year's Day.) Join Senex in honoring the god of agriculture and war during the month of March!
